anime + tv
i recently finished Interview with the Vampire and man... Man! that was a fucking ride. i thoroughly enjoyed watching that, even if i had to take numerous breaks due to my phobia of blood. LOL. but seriously, i can't wait for part two!

movie
recently rewatched The Truman Show with my good friend and god... it really is such an amazing movie.

music
just gave a good listen to my faves' new release, Blue Paradise! ZB1 really hit home with this one. I love Devil's Game a lot... Melting Point, you have a contender. O_O

recent watches
the truman show (1998) ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
oh man... this was a rewatch, but i loved every second of it, even on the second watch. this is my friend's favorite movie of all time and i cannot blame him - not one bit.
jim carey's is an actor we've been blessed with, if i can speak from my opinionated heart for a moment.
i love that man - i love his works. i truly believe in his talent. the range he can acocmplish is astounding, and The Truman Show truly proves that. watch this if you haven't - i don't know what you're doing if you haven't put this on your watchlist, honestly.

recent recommendations
i've been on a sad movie kick, so i have to recommend my favorite sad movie of all time, Manchester by the Sea. this helps me process my grief, even if i know what's coming each time i watch it. it's cathartic. tears each time. but it makes me feel alive, it makes me feel. and it's worth the feeling each time.
CONTENT WARNINGS for child death (minor), death and grief (major), arson/fire, mental health + suicide, did i mention grief? it's a heavy movie, truly, but it really is an amazing watch if you think you can handle the topics provided. i do recommend it with all of my heart.
